Experience Happens Here

We offer a well-rounded educational experience that continues the learning beyond classroom lessons. Clubs, field trips, supplemental technology courses, and wraparound programming provide the opportunity for our students to find their strengths and soar.

  1. Morning Care

As a way to support our families, Cornerstone partners with The Common Place to provide Morning and After Care. Morning Care begins at 7:05 AM until school starts at 7:30 AM. Parents can drop off their children where dedicated staff greet them at no cost. Breakfast is served from 7:10 – 7:30 AM.

  2. After Care

After Care is provided via The Common Place Scholars, an after-school arts and enrichment program that partners with Cornerstone. The Common Place provides quality faith-based arts education and academic enrichment to students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. For more information about The Common Place Scholars contact Huan Baum at 267-275-82328.

  3. Choir

The Voices In Praise choir travels throughout the country and the state of Pennsylvania sharing the love of God through gospel music. The choir practices during the school day according to grade level. For questions regarding choir, contact Music Teacher, Tameka Ferebee at tferebee@cornerstonephiladelphia.com.

  4. Field Trips

Field trips expose our students to the world beyond our classrooms and help to solidify practical applications of their learning. Trips are scheduled at the discretion of each teacher and are applicable to classroom curriculum.

  5. Cornerstone Warriors Basketball

The Warriors are a co-ed team of 5th-8th graders that competes against other local Christian schools from January – March each year in the PACSAC Basketball League. Go Warriors!

  6. Cheerleading

Cheering and rooting on our boys and girls in blue and gold!

  7. Zoe Praise Dance

Our co-ed dance group meets throughout the year, learning and performing organized dance routines for groups and solo dancers.
