Science, Technology, Engineering, And Math

Cornerstone is committed to preparing our students to succeed in a world ever more dependent on technology. Exposure to technology and tech-based educational best practices, gives our students the skills to succeed in their continuing education and later in their lives.

  1. Technology Integration

In partnership with EduTech and The Uncommon Individual Foundation, Cornerstone has developed a technology program that helps students prepare for the evolving technological world. “Tech World,” is equipped with a 3D printers, robotics equipment, and the latest software programs to help students connect to a world outside of the classroom through technology. The Richard E. Caruso STEAM Lab features the Lego wall, craft kits, and other non-manipulatives to help students integrate science, technology, engineering, art, and math. This exploration takes place in the Learning Commons where teachers and students have the opportunity to put new skills in action with collaborative projects and research.

  2. Teacher Support

Cornerstone is proud to partner with EduTech to provide teacher assistance and best practices to our faculty.

  3. Science Fair

Each year our Middle School works in small groups to come up with scientific concepts to test and share at an open house Science Fair. Judges are cultivated from our various partners and each year one winner is announced!
